Out & About

Ty’r Heulwen is a deceptively spacious and stylish holiday retreat, ideally suited for all age groups and for all times of the year. With off-road parking and a 5-minute walk to the beach and shop, it is conveniently -located to explore both the wonderful coastline of Mid-Wales with miles of sandy beaches and the Snowdonia National Park. The train station is only 500 metres if you’d like to arrive by train.

We are very enthusiastic about our house and this area and would love you to come and see it for yourselves!

Quietly -placed on the western edge of the pretty unspoilt village of Aberdovey, Ty’r Heulwen provides a superb base for walkers, ornithologists, climbers, cyclists, golfers, rail enthusiasts, fishermen and lovers of all water sports.

With a south-facing large balcony, overlooking the Championship golf course and extensive sand dunes, it is a wonderful place to relax and watch the sunset. There are chairs and two bistro tables on the balcony. The communal garden is extensive and allows children an enclosed play area (but children need to be supervised by an adult at all times, however.) There is a large table and chairs for dining on the patio.

The three-bedrooms are all on the ground floor, leading off from a tiled hallway, while the tastefully-furnished living area is on the first floor with a very well-appointed large separate kitchen comprising a double electric oven and hob, large fridge/ freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/ tumble drier. The cupboards are very well-stocked with good-quality crockery, cutlery and glasses and there is plenty of space to store food.

The shower room with shower, loo and hand basin is also on the ground floor as is and additional cloakroom with loo and handbasin.

The sitting area has two large settees ( one is a double bed-settee) , a separate tub arm chair and plenty of occasional tables.

The dining table can seat a maximum of 10 and the sideboard is well-stocked with cards, games and there is a good selection of books , maps and brochures to browse through.

Gas central heating with additional electric fire and double-glazing throughout makes it a cosy venue for winter breaks, too, and there is a large wall-mounted LCD TV with integrated DVD and Freeview, in the living area and Broadband WiFi.

All utilities are included in the price as are bed linen and towels ( please bring your own beach towels and cot bedding though ).

There is a travel cot, high chair and stair gate ( removable) available for families.

Short breaks ( 3-nights or more ) are available throughout the year as well as whole weeks but sorry, no pets are permitted to stay. Smokers please only smoke outside.
